One of my favourite houses in Flesherton is for sale (no it’s not mine), but I have spent many magical evenings there. You can see the listing here. It would be perfect for a family of artists, one who would like to grow a vegetable garden and have lots of space to create. Located in a small village with a bakery, two good restaurants, a cafe, a new library, an amazing cheese shop and all the nature you could want. And you could be my neighbor a few doors down (hence the plug). We will spending our summers in Flesherton from now on. This house has a really great energy, the family who is selling it are dear to my heart. Any takers?
every night I walk several hours.
my baby has decided she does not like to stand still.
my husband and I take turns walking.
it has turned into a kind of poem.
a sleep deprived repetitive motion during which I notice the sound of the leaves and hear my feet hitting the ground.

most nights I notice the sky, the clouds, the sunset, the hills in the distance.

sorry these are not the greatest photos. I literally have minutes to put this up so it’s the best I could do before someone wakes up and needs to feed again. hopefully this will tease you enough that you need to see it in person.
after receiving it yesterday my husband made me some tea and forced me to go outside by myself and enjoy the moment (after dealing with a colicky baby for the last few weeks). so I had a nice hour with it and I feel so very proud and in love with the results. this one feels different than the last few books, I really went out on a limb with it and so I truly have NO IDEA how it will be received. I think if you already respond to my work, you will really enjoy it. REALLY. I MEAN IT. as always, my test for it is “Would I HAVE to purchase this if I saw it in a bookstore?” and the answer is most definitely “YES!!!” I so wish I had time to fill in the pages myself right now. but I have to leave it for you to do.
