“You learn more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation.” -plato
We are home! It was amazing journey, and I will write a detailed update soon. But alas we are resting. The whole family has come down with a nasty cold, I’m glad it struck now instead of while on the road! More to come.

Glad you’re back and I hope everyone feels better soon.

I have a nasty cold also. It doesn’t seem to want to willingly go away :(

Gosh, I’m glad you’re back. Get well soon!
Re: Play and Plato
Google-up “default mode network and creativity” and you’ll discover the beakers and bunsen burners (or in this case, functional MRI) agree with you.
Here is the research (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21111830) and here is the relevant bit:
our findings are “congruent with the idea that diffuse attention is associated with individual creativity.”
Play on.

Hi Keri,
Looking forward to hearing about your adventures. Sorry you all were sick.
I’m going through your book, Mess, this month (May 2011). I post about it on Mondays. I think it’s going to be an incredible experience. I look forward to playing with all your books.
