Keri – I have been a reader of your blog for a long time. I am not in a traditionally creative career, but find your ideas incredibly inspiring in ways I could not have imagined. This post about today never happening again is simple, perfect and enlightening. And isn’t it funny that the obvious things like that are those that get lost in the fray of day to day life.
Thanks for the reminder. Kylie

I love this. A great reminder to make the most of each one we receive. Your sign makes me want to write all of the great little details of the day on the back on it.

switchsky,
yes i must admit it does feel like that to me also.
i want to write about it a bit, about how it has something to do with giving myself permission to experiment.
what if you allowed yourself to go into places that you’ve never ventured before just to see what it feels like?
what if you just sit in that place of experimentation for a time and not have to commit to a resolution?
what if you let the idea be more important than the execution?
to me experimentation means to enter into an idea without any expectations or assumptions about the result. it is hard to do often, but the interesting learning comes out of a discovery of something you didn’t anticipate.
these are the places that i’ve been venturing. it has been very freeing.
