welcome to the world Tilden Smith Pitcher, on February 15, 2008, 3:43pm, 6 lbs. 10 ounces, 41 hours of labour (yes you read that correctly), no pain meds (I am very proud of this)! Mom and Dad are happy (and tired), but very in love with this little man. it probably goes without saying that it was the most incredible experience of my life.

this is what happens to you when you work on a book for too long.
no I haven't given birth yet. (thank you for all your concerned and well wishing emails, postcards and letters. we are all doing just great.)
about ten pages to go. (i admit that I'm really happy with the outcome).
about fourteen days until i'm officially due, (that really means any day now).
this photo is deceiving. my belly is almost as big as the ball, it comes straight out and threatens to take over my house.
i am a big red ball of excitement.
