exercise
1. Find a found photo either of people or a place you know nothing about.
2. Make as many connections as you can between you and the photo.

I love this project and will try it myself! I love that I've found someone who is as irritated by contemporary vernacular as I am! And shortening words drives me nuts!

There is an article in my local Sunday newspaper about guerrilla artists in Portland's 5.15-acre city park, Forest Park. Mentioned in the piece was a "painstakingly crafted" metal macaw place high in a NW fir tree. It is a long article also mentioning a street artist who ties hundreds of toy horses to sidewalk loops around the city.
