Thanks for the reply keri. I get it now. BTW - I was at the How Design Conference you spoke at in San Diego and you were the first "session" my friend and I attended. I was truly inspired by your talk and it made me realize that there was a lot more to the creative life that I could be experiencing. I've been a regular visitor to your site since and I consistently find new ideas, books and inspiration in your entries. It reminds me to go deeper in my own life and I wanted to thank you for that. We all need little reminders now and then so we don't forget the important stuff. One last thing... Give Emiliana Torrini's album, Fisherman's Woman a listen to if haven't already. I think you'd like it. Take care.

steve,
yes, it was completely intentional and conscious. i was wanting to learn from recreating something but knowing that it would be different because I did it, (seeing those differences in a physica way) this relates to the most recent quote i printed from corita.

it's all an experiment.

Hey Keri. I was just reading a book on Eva Hesse (prompted by you) and saw one of her untitled drawings and I thought - "Where have I seen that drawing before?" I checked back to this entry and saw your drawing and hers are almost identical. Did you do that on purpose? Were you aware of that? Or am I the last guy in the room to figure it out....?

very nice study in "negative space? " Thanks for your interpretation of Bachelard, I've had a copy of poetry of space for years and never understood a word of it.
