Posted by: KatrineK on September 4, 2006 02:34 AMthe million mistakes thing...mistakes that lead to new creations
Posted by: kat on September 1, 2006 04:33 PMour class worked for weeks for this group presentation competition against other batches in the school.
we spent nights together
we failed tests together
we got bruises together
we thought we would all lose the competition.
but we won over all the whole school.
we made a million mistakes.
and despite the fact we thought we realy wouldnt make it
we were never discouraged.
we're all still hung over from the victory.

The only perfection is imperfection.
As always, you cheer me up Keri. Keep writing.
Beautiful...exactly what I needed this morning.

Posted by: m on August 30, 2006 03:36 AMI'm glad for you - and looking forward to hearing more!
Posted by: Michelle on August 30, 2006 01:37 AMThanks for the quote - I'm printing it out right now! I plan to put it above my desk so that I can think about it as I struggle with my research... (I'm tend to procrastinate a LOT when I about to embark on something new!)
Posted by: Katie on August 29, 2006 09:56 PMWhen do we get to hear what your next book is about? Can't wait!
Posted by: Alex on August 29, 2006 07:34 PMWhenever I get stuck, I pull out a "Max" book. So thanks for the quote. I'm writing my first novel and, 30,000 words in, I pull a muscle in my shoulder. Ugh! Pain! Despair! Ruined Daily Wordcount! But: the week off has reconnected me with my sketchpad, helped me draw a map of my character's haunts, brought me back to pen and paper and, most importantly, let me dream. Since getting off the computer, the story is sprouting wings. Isn't it funny how the writing gods come when you need them the most? (Yeah for your new bookie!)
Posted by: happy little atom on August 29, 2006 07:00 PMYay! Can't wait to read the new book. Thanks for posting this quote, it came at a great time.
