i love when i discover "signs" - they come at all the right moments, don't they? i've found lots of hearts, rocks, shells, even chips shaped like hearts, but never just a drawn heart. i love that! best wishes.

I think its a sign! I came across a heart shaped crisp the other day :D I also have this heart on my ceiling, it must have been created by incense its strange but beautiful!
Posted by: sarah on May 29, 2006 07:00 AMI found a piece of paper near an elementary school one day. It was crumpled up, torn and dirty, but it's framed and hung on my wall today. In orange marker, in a kid's scrawl, all it said was, "And we get to watch cartoons". THAT is a powerful talisman, believe me. I think about it as a metaphor every day.
Posted by: tom on May 29, 2006 04:41 AMI found a big red cut out heart on MY walk this morning! just lying on the path.
Posted by: Miss Dot on May 27, 2006 11:05 AMI love finding things like this.Definitely take it as a sign. I'm always asking for a sign, but now realise that they only land at your feet when you're not expecting them-but always when you really need them!
I'm going to tie a note to a ballon tomorrow now, and let it go in the wind!
ooooh, I love a kindred thought. I would so take that as a sign as well! And I'd make up at least a dozen stories as to how it came to be. Love it!
Posted by: Sharyn (Torm) on May 21, 2006 03:12 PMWhen I see that heart on the paper I think of the girl who may have made it. Who looked at the heart she drew and thought, "It's not good enough. It doesn't look pretty." And she crumpled it up to start over. How many times did she do that?
So I see a desire for perfection...and of course, I would see that because I was the little girl who would try to draw things "just right".
I wonder if the artist behind this heart ever found the one that made her heart sing. I've been getting closer...
