Remember . . . when two or more are gathered together in a common focus, the power to change the world is multiplied a thousand times more than if one person was doing it alone.

You're NOT alone.

Keri, this is one of my fave quotes, I used to have it on my wall in college...Thanks for reminding me of it!

Your posts always leave me with something, and I'm grateful to have your words in the world.

Kind regards,

I applaude Keri's response to his email.. it is ONE persons opinion of what keri and jeff do.. it's NOT the whole truth..

It didn't stir me.. it was one persons observations using THEIR OWN past.. their own stories..and experiences..

this is not our experience..

this is a small metaphor for what we are suffering from in our world.. We get SO upset over one person or groups beliefs..

Accept them.. and LOVE that they are NOT YOURS!!!

I quote Wayne Dyer... "A realized person acts independently of the good opinion of others.."

this guy is totally entitled to his thoughts.. even publishing them.. just like us.. doesn't mean they/we have to like it.. it's what makes having millions of choices.. in what we believe in.. a miracle..

This is just one girls opinion.. please disregard if it's not even remotely close to yours.. :)
namaste.

e.e. cummings is the best and somedays, it is absolutely exhausting...it took me until i was about 30 to stop trying to fit into the mold.

happy green beer day!

keri, I love your blog....and I think it will all be ok. .....

Hi Keri,
I've nver commented here b4 either tho I do visit on occasion & have you blogrolled. All I can say is, the guy who wrote the piece at Direct mag is the real ass. I'm offended that Direct even published it, though I'm not familiar with them. His whole response is crap, I can't really think of any other way to characterize it. I wanted to write back to Direct too but the writer of that piece is not listed in the email addresses.
I, and many other artists and blog readers and writers, support you across the cyber-waves. Stay strong, girl.

Keri --

I stumbled onto your site. You were a link from an article at Blogher. Regardless of how I got here -- your site is great. Creative and fun. Bookmarked it. Keep up the art. Brilliant.

I find that it quite depressing that in our society we value the mean over the kind, we look up to individuals that have "succeeded" in life, that are rich CEOs, even if it means they have betrayed everybody around them, have fired single moms out of their job for the good of shareholders. They are still viewed as people to aspire to. But I will not do this. I will not betray my values to go up the ladder. I will stay myself, and thank you keri and all the people who commented to show me that I will not be alone.

Kerri-
I have followed your blog for ages- I have never responded until now- Your tenacity and courage and resolve is inspiring. The hateful tone of that guys email was so "out-there" I am using this as a discussion topic in my intro to 2D art course(I teach at a small university in Northern Minnesota)
The way you have dealt with this will be an inspiration to my students.
I love your sharing- your art- your book- your time!
I am a male and am so pleased that other guys read your blog and have supported you. YOU MATTER!

A quote I read on a blog recently. (Wish I could give credit, but I can't recall where.) "Be yourself. Everyone else is taken."

Thanks for reminding me of mister Cummings. Fighting can be awfully fun though. Part of why I wear fairy wings is to yell out in winged form, "I WILL NOT BE MADE A CLONE!" :) Quite entertaining, really.
