Thanks for pointing me to the Moonlight Chronicles! I used to live in Joseph, OR and it broke my heart when we had to leave. I'm suprised I hadn't heard of it while I was there, but I wasn't there long...

i love typewriters like this...they have so much character in them. and its more fun when you hear their clickity clacking while truly feeling it while you type on the keys. it makes a nice big sound too.

I have wanted to own an old typewriter much like that one for a long time. One of there days I'm going to treat myself. Though I doubt you can get them for $25 these days....

I went searching for this typewriter a year or so ago in all the thift stores in town. It smells like my childhood and the letters are slightly askew. I love it.

i have a typewriter just like this. i've always imagined its clunky type but can never seem to get it to work.
much jamming of keys and old uninked ribbon.
