Posted by: Maria on July 5, 2005 03:45 AMYour drawing was almost as good as the real thing...As soon as I read your post - I felt summer happy - simple things really are the best!
Posted by: tracy on July 4, 2005 07:56 PMI love strawberries and everything honey. Enjoy the summer fruits.
Posted by: Milly on July 4, 2005 07:13 PMupdate: I ate the bread toasted with the honey, and slices strawberries on top. it was fantastic, one of the best things I have ever done.
Keri, your color illustrations are so vibrant and alive!! Do you use watercolours?? I love the color, Keri! It's a brightness and aliveness we all need! Simple things such as strawberries, honey jars and color make me feel satistified and grateful. Thank you for your beautiful color! : )
Posted by: Velvet Brick on July 4, 2005 05:24 PMYour illustration of the bright red strawberries in the vibrant green basket is so stunning. It would make a lovely card.
Posted by: Poppy on July 4, 2005 05:21 PMStrawberries rock. I can get locally grown strawberries (and, er, cabbage) here in Bristol, but not from Mennonites, just the skinny speedy guys who run the local veg shop. My pal Lindy grows them herself, and it was great to tuck into a bowlful while they were still hot from the sun.
eat them 'berries up.
