i often hide underneath a rock, to get out, i have my artwork... thank goodness, otherwise i'd still be under that rock.

That rock appeals to me. It looks so safe and removed from whatever she is hiding from. I think everyone needs a rock of their own, every now and again.

But it looks so cosy under there..I am one of those hide under rocks types, not sure if I was made for this world or this world was made for me..having young kids forces you out from under the rock because you have to be out in the world for them. Believe me though sometimes I cringe at the thought of vacuous school yard conversations and wish I could race back to my 'rock'.

I can never get out from under said rock fast enough! My conscience is almost always going to be an order of magnitude more severe than whatever the outside world has to say about me. Sometimes it's difficult to find a way to acknowledge things in a sensible way though.
