A new journal cover I did recently for Mudpuppy Press. I'm not sure if it's available yet, but I recieved some samples and really like what they did with it. Lots of lists, favourite things, some quizzes, writing ideas, very cute. Geared towards an 8-12 year old journaler.
Posted by kerismith at June 27, 2005 10:33 AMWonderful journal! I want one for myself - like the many others and my 7 year old is a journal maniac and it will make a perfect birthday present for her! I'm looking forward to it being available.

Posted by: violette on June 28, 2005 08:28 PMMy daughter has been keeping a journal religiously for a year now using pretty funky looking Classmate Composition Books. It's amazig what she writes...loves, fears, funny things: "I like divishun but maltapukashun is hard..Things were so easy in furst grade." She'll be 8yrs old in a few weeks...I can't wait to buy her a 'real' journal' for her birthday! Love the idea of prompts for her to think about....

Posted by: kristin on June 28, 2005 01:39 PMI just happen to *have* a nine year old daughter who just happens to really need a journal to help develop her writing skills! This would be perfect!

Posted by: patricia on June 28, 2005 10:13 AMthose colour, the lists, the favourite things, the quizes..... i don't care if it's for a 12 year old. i want one too!
Posted by: lucy on June 27, 2005 09:38 PMwell, I'm all about pinks and reds (and some delicious orange thrown in for good measure) these days... actually, so is my four-year old daughter. in fact, at the end of the july we are celebrating her fifth birthday with a 'pink and red' party. I was delighted at the sight of this journal. though it won't be out in time to give her as a birthday gift, it will be quite the joy to give to her down the road.
I love the collage/mosaic feel that it has, too. nice work.
Posted by: andrea j on June 27, 2005 06:41 PMThis is great Keri! My niece Cayce would love this. I have always been a fan of pinks and reds together. Very cute!

Posted by: jenn on June 27, 2005 05:53 PMOh how exciting! My Daisy, who is eight, will love this. She is such a social butterfly and she already has several journals and art journals on the go. I'll have to look for it ... I hope that it comes out soon.
