"Above all else, it is about leaving a mark that I existed: I was here. I was hungry. I was defeated. I was happy. I was sad. I was in love. I was afraid. I was hopeful. I had an idea and I had a good purpose and that's why I made works of art." --Felix Gonzalez-Torres (fr. Adbusters Vol 13)

Eliane, you are never too young for relection or retrospection. It helps to make meaning of what is going on around you and to see the good in our world and our lives.

Love these pages, love the quote. You've inspired me to make a mark by way of my own journal.

What a marvelous quote! Sometimes, in dark moments, I wonder why I bother drawing, painting, journalling when nobody else seems to notice but this tells me why. I love it!

I don't think I am old enough yet for retrospect.
