I don't know if you read these things, but I wanted you to know that very shortyl after you first mentioned Lovelydesigns, I visited their website and ordered a journal. It arrived today and I was just floored. This is more than just a journal. It is tool for encouraging creativity! I make my own artists books, which I love, but this is even more fun because I did not make it, someone else did. Kind of like chicken soup tastes better when someone has brought it to you. Anyway, I am definetly going to draw in the book a la Nick Bantock. Intense little pen and inks with some watercolor, depending on the page. Each one would be a challenge...and a fun one at that. I have highly reccommended lovelydesigns to many of my artist friends and hope Sharilyn gets lots of business ! Thanks again for turning my attention to Lovelydesigns.

Yes, this is the lovely design journal, mine is a "journey". It is full of little envelopes and graph papers, and color. I highly recommend it. I will probably not use this one for sketching work concepts because of the 'printed' papers, but it is perfect for journaling, doodling, and gluing. I love that it is made by hand. this will not be my last from lovelydesign
