Thank you, thank you, thank you for always painting and quoting and being an inspirational force to be reckoned with (with risk of sounding like a paperback reviewer.)!

I have a request. Can you draw a parrot in your unique way? I have a sponsor child that lives in Bolivia who requested that I send her a picture of a parrot. I was thinking that I could get as many artists as I could to give me a quick sketch or drawing of parrots as a gift for her! I will understand if you can't do this! Thanks!

I love rice candy. There's one kind whose wrapper dissolves in one's mouth. So the whole thing is edible.

i think it was a car sticker. it fell out of my journal a while ago. I must say these candies have the strangest texture. if you bite them they seem to 'bounce back'!

You just drew a picture of my favourite candy in the world, ever. When I lived in Hawaii as a kid, my brother and I would walk three miles to the nearest liquor store to buy boxes of Tomoe Ame rice candy and Koala Springs currant juice. For lack of anything better to do. :)

And Ulysses is still the best book I've ever read, with the most satisfying ending, so I appreciate the quote. What a nice way to start the day!
