The Amazing Holiday Zine of Keri Smith (my yearly newsletter). Enjoy.
Posted by kerismith at December 22, 2003 09:40 AMKeri thank you for putting time and effort into your wonderful blog - I do appreciate it!
Have a happy, peaceful and healthy christmas
Posted by: m on December 24, 2003 09:39 AMoh my gosh, you're so cute! that's the best idea ever. i'm so sick of drawing non-denominational holiday cards with inane messages that inevitably cramp my hands after writing just 3 or 4.
Posted by: susie on December 24, 2003 03:47 AMWow. Eleven years and it is so fresh. I love that idea. Maybe somehow I can do something similar for my family next year, uh, without the cute drawing. I don't know how you do it, but my hat is off to you. Thank you for sharing.
Posted by: Elaine on December 24, 2003 12:06 AMHi All,
thanks for the lovely comments on the newsletter. I have a lot of fun with it every year.
Someone pointed out that the measurement for the espresso was omitted. It is as you may have guessed, 1/4 cup.
Happy Baking!

Yay! That was SO GOOD! Do you have others that you could post for us?
Thanks so much for starting the blog this year, it's one of the joys of the Internet.
Posted by: Lynda on December 22, 2003 09:15 PMI love your newsletter, it is so cool! I hope you continue publishing them...do you have others available? You are a total burst of inspiration!!Merry Christmas!
Posted by: Mabelle on December 22, 2003 06:34 PMYOu are so inspiring! I wish I saw this 2 weeks ago I would have done the same but with out the cute drawings. I can't draw to save my life. Maybe I would just print out yours and then write shemaiah on everything and pretend like I was the very creative lady.
Posted by: shemaiah on December 22, 2003 05:02 PMLove the newsletter and Hortence and Giles*:)
Happy Holidays!
Going to look for secret code...
Posted by: pt*:) on December 22, 2003 02:30 PMThat is, hands down, the best Christmas newsletter I have ever seen. It's like a magazine! I'm sure those who have it sent to them wish that Christmas came more than once a year. Thanks for letting us have a peek!
Posted by: Cordelia on December 22, 2003 01:31 PMI bought the Life of Pi for my brother for Christmas. I plan on stealing it back after he's through it.
You are an inspiration, Keri! I'm glad I got to meet you this year. (well, meet via web) You are wonderful.
Happy Holidays!

Posted by: penelope on December 22, 2003 10:34 AMHi Keri, beautiful newsletter. In the ins and outs you seem to forget stiff fingers. Don't you get stiff fingers from drawing? I do, and very cold aching hands, and I don't even notice until it's too late. Merry X-mas!
Posted by: eliane on December 22, 2003 09:52 AMone of favorite reads this year was life of pi by yann martel. came to me via my husband's men's book club. excellent recommendation!
