Origami leaves

Oooh, I had to add a couple more links...
...how to make an origami Japanese Maple Leaf. Decorate your home.
...Pamela Barsky has started her own blog in an attempt to document the day to day experiences of running your own business. I for one am very excited about it! It is so great to share in the processes of others. Keep it up Pamela!
...loving the illustrations of Annika Smajic.

The directions are a little tricky in that they neglect to tell you on two occasions that you have to flip the whole thing over to the other side and rotate. I would rate this a 8 in terms of difficulty, (some knowledge of origami terms is necessary, ie. valley fold).
I do find the final product quite pleasing! A nice change from the Canadian maples we have all over our property.

Keri, you must have some serious skills when it comes to origami! I have tried to make the leaf you linked to and had a difficult time deciphering the instructions. Well, I'm not going to give up...they look too cool to pass by!

Thanks for the origami link. My 9 year old is wild about origami and that site has some great projects. I am an "artist wannabe" - but can't give up my day job just yet. I have enjoyed your work as well as the artists that you link to....
